Noir Carat’s word : Very appreciated by lovers, the expression “More than yesterday less than tomorrow”, is a line from Rosemonde Gérard’s poem to her husband Edmond Rostand. It was made famous by Alphonse Augis, a jeweler from Lyon who had the idea to create, at the beginning of the 20th century, medals engraved with this sentence.
